    NAIYA’S WISH BY V J ASTRID| Book Review.

I received an Arc of this fantasy read by The book scenes tour. The Plot I had no idea this book was part of a series when I got it, but the author did an incredible job of producing a complex and well-written novel that felt like a standalone, which I greatly appreciated. The storey was delivered from the perspectives of three female characters. Naiya is a water nymph that dwells near a mill in a pond. Hilda is the miller’s wife, and Amina is the baker’s youngest daughter. This story is about these three females, and we learn a lot about them because to the author’s excellent writing. This story…

House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland. Book Review

Krystal Sutherland’s book has been on my tbr (to be read) for awhile now and I have never been so pleasantly surprised by a story like I did with this one. Overview This is a story about Hallow sisters Grey, Vivi and Iris; Where Grey is the eldest with Vivi the middle sister and Iris the narrator of the story being the youngest sister. From the very first sentence Sutherland fascinates us with the mysteries around the Hollow sister. The sisters were kidnapped as children only to be returned under suspicious circumstances after 1 month of the incidence. The plot thickens when Grey goes missing after ten years. Iris and…

This book has been on my TBR pile for quite some time. It’s such a shame I waited this long to read it. The Cover of this book is absolutely gorgeous! About the book Shiori is Kiata’s princess, However Magic is forbidden in her father’s realm, but it runs through her veins. Raikama makes a fantastic villain as a wicked stepmother. In addition there was suspense, romance, battle and dragons! in this story. It was epic and had just about…

We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal. Book Review!

I wanted to take my time with this book. I’d heard good things about Hafsah Faizal’s novel, so I knew I’d have to dedicate more time to it. I’ve also been in a reading slump and wanted to read something that didn’t need me to write a book review right away. The story and its epic settings Zafira is a young huntress who enters this dreadful woodland in search of sustenance for her village. She travels alone since most people who enter the forest gets sick, and for some reason, she’s the only one who can go in and out of it without getting hurt. Nasir, the king’s son; Because…

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

Finally, we’ve reached the latest installment of the ACOTAR series, as well as the series’ last book review. The sheer size of this book is the first thing you notice when you take it up. It’s a hefty book, and finishing it took me a long time. What’s the book about? Nesta’s personal journey and her relationship with Cassian take precedence over the plot in this fantasy novel. Along with their more serious moments containing some disputes, their snark and ease with one another was a lot of fun to read. SJM has nailed the mix between romance and relationship development. In that the world building and plot set the…

A Court of Wings and Ruin By Sarah J Maas.

First and foremost, A Court of Mist and Fury is still my favorite of the three books. And I believe that everyone went into this novel with very high expectations. Having said that, despite the fact that A Court of Wings and Ruin fell short of my expectations, but I still enjoyed it. The Story A Court of Wings and Ruin begins up shortly after the events of ACOMAF. Feyre, the High Lady of the Night Court, meets with her old lover Tamlin in the Spring Court. Feyre is determined to bring down his court and spy on any plans related to the King of Hybern’s impending invasion into Prythian.…
